After looking at all the information on the Lawson Webb, there were a lot of Fannies and James in VA and my information does not seem to fit in any, so disregard my cousin Fannie who married A. J. Kirby. I do not think she is the Fannie you are researching. (Cox/ Webb) Lawson. She married A. J. Kirby, but I could be wrong there. I believe I have a picture of Jeff and Lucy but I have not found out how to get my pictures transferred to Ancestry.com. Where is her gravestone? I have not talked with anyone who knew her personally. My guess is that her real name was Fannie Anna Lawson and Anna would be her grandmother's name, but I am only guessing. Can you tell me about when she was born and where she lived. In my book, I listed her as Fannie Lawson Kirby, Gastonia, NC. I do know that her married name is Lawson. However, I do not know her maiden name. On her gravestone her name is listed as "Fannie A. Lawson." She also went by Becky. -----Original Message----- From: lawson-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:lawson-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of wilmapadgett1@comcast.net Sent: Monday, October 19, 2009 10:00 PM To: gc-gateway@rootsweb.com; lawson@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [LAWSON] Lawson Family of North Carolina and Virginia Are you by chance speaking of Fannie Lawson, dau. of Jefferson Lawson and Lucy Webb Lawson. I have her married to A. J. Kirby. I am so happy to know this. Jefferson is my Dad's great uncle and Fannie would be my father's great niece, my first cousin. Did she marry 2x and James was her 2nd husband? I need you to enlighten me on these people. Hope to hear from you soon. Maybe I am thinking of the wrong Fannie. Let me know.
