For example, I am different on two markers from my two brothers. This is in the first 37 markers. For the full 67 markers, we still differ on two. So, I have two mutations. I am on travel now (in Raleigh for the National Genealogical Society's annual conference), so I cannot easily investigate to see if the difference is significant. I will follow up on this after mid-June (when I finish a spate of back-to-back travel). Have you joined the Clan MacLaren Surname DNA Project as your second project? All Lawsons are invited to join, and a number have (Lawson is one of the Clan surnames). If you haven't, you can do so by going to your personal page at Family Tree DNA. You will see a join button on this page. Click on this and then select MacLaren from the list of projects you can join. Then at the bottom of the next page is another join button.
