That is how we get cross checks, discover other possibilities to investigate, etc. The main thing is to give the board some idea of the extent or source of information and then let the board members contribute! As for me, I am still trying to find my Mary Lawson's family (the one that married Elisha Lawson and the surety was given by a Joshua Lawson-and the Joshua was probably not yours as the marriage was in 1800!). I am still looking for that 'break' in comments that may give me the lead to place her in a family. She may have been a cousin also as it was another Lawson family. That is how research goes. I think I have had a few notes exchanged with Connie and Tim a few months back. I am not a long time researcher but have lucked into some information (from others) that helped me proceed and learn how to look for information.
