I am the great grandson of Rosa Lawson, the daughter of Micajah Cager Lawson and Annie Elizabeth Saylor. My grandfather was Roy Brock (deceased), her son with Eli Brock. I am looking for a photo of Rosa. I don't know if you are aware of the story but Rosa was murdered by her 3rd husband. My grandfather was at work and his half brothers John and Richard Haywood were home when she was murdered. He also tried/threatened to kill them and they ran from the house that day. My grandfather and John spent the next 45-50 years wondering what had happened to each other before John located my grandfather in the early 80's. Considering they had been separated for so many years, it was amazing that they were reunited. My grandfather had wanted a photo of his mother and they searched together but were never able to locate one. When I told John that I was working on this family tree, he asked if I had found one or would try to find one. John is not in good health and it is my goal to exhaust my resources to find him one. If you have one, I'd appreciate assistance with getting a copy. If you know of someone that may have one, please point me in the correct direction. Thank you for ! any assistance that you can offer.
