One son's name was William Pascal Lawson. On the death cert, his father is listed as Clemuel Lawson and mother is Polly Stevens. This is the same as Clement/Clemuel's Civil War record statement about his first wife being Polly (aka Mary, Ann and Polly) Stevens and being married in Rogersville, Hawkins Co., TN by a ?Thomas Walden (?Walling/Wallen). Also we have the other Hawkins county marriage of Lawson to a Stevens to consider. The other son George Lawson and daughter Elizabeth Brown's parents are listed as father: Clem Lawson and mother: unknown.
