Remember that an older Stokely Lawson show up on the 1810 Lee County Tax list along with David Lawson. I presume that he is from that group of Lawsons. Stokely Lawson and Wallen Lawson were found living next to Thomas Lawson (likely the Thomas Lawson who married Nancy Wallen) from Lee County in 1840 Hawkins County, who was old enough to be their father. Just before 1850, Thomas Lawson married widow Susan Steven. In 1860 Hawncock County, Stokely was again found living next Stokely Lawson.
