Yes, Alexander Trent was the one who married a Burton in Grayson County, VA. His relative William D. Trent Sr married her sister. James Trent, son of William Trent, is supposedly really a Burton as well. Samuel Trent appears to be the father of all of those who became Burtons after 1850.
