I have one married to Matilda Ashe, another married to Matilda Bedford and another married to Millie Roberts. I have come across about five of them. They all seem to be connected to VA. My Roberts were from Pittsylvania Co. (thereabouts) to Wise/Scott/Lee and into Claiborne/Hawkins/Hancock. In my ignorance, I have done a lot of work on people that are not connected to my Lawsons and I just can't stand to delete them. My Stokley Lawson b. 1811 married to Rebecca Neill/Neal. I would much appreciate anything you might have on them. He was born and married in Lee Co Va and moved after several children were born to Campbell Co. Tn. He is son of David Lawson who is supposed son of Mornan Lawson and his first wife. Yes he did have a first wife, a court document in Hawkins Co. Tn conerning the pension of Elvia Collins Lawson states he had a first wife.
