He married Jane Burton, daughter of William Burton and Salina Murrell. Salina was the daughter of James Murrell Sr and Nancy Lawson. William Burton was know as William Trent before 1860, and was likely the son of Samuel Trent who was said to be an illegitimate boy and son or stepson of Alexander Trent Sr. William Burton was the father of James C. Burton who married Elizabeth Lawson, presumed daughter of Hennis Lawson. They divorce and James married Emily Brown, daughter of Commodore Brown and Orlena Winstead. Orlena Winstead was the daughter of John Winstead and Mary Lawson, daughter of Banks Lawson. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
