Brenda, I have knowledge that my George William Lawson married Sally Shockley for they are my aunt and uncle and I have their pictures.  But there is/are more than one George William Lawson who lived in Patrick County.  You will have to tell more about yourself or them; where did they live, in Meadows of Dan, Carroll County, and give me more names.  I thought I wrote you he may have been Isham Lawson's George W. Lawson.  Let me know. Anyway, thanks for looking into it. I have been back checking and looking at Georges in other counties again mostly in NC and in Tazewell County, VA.
