The father is Clint Lawson and the mother is Tish Lawson. However, she is a second wife since she says she was married 10 years with five children, three living. There are three children younger than 10 listed in the family. However, Harrison, Isaac, and a sister Mallie are older than 10. Therefore they are from a previous wife. I found a Sherman Lawson, born June 1883, listed with a Riley family in Girdler, Knox County, Kentucky. This looks like your Sherman and his birthplace is given as Tennessee. Let me know if you want the images and I will send. If you have any male Lawson relatives, one of them one be a good candidate to do the DNA test (67 markers at Family Tree DNA) in either the Lawson DNA Project or the MacLaren DNA Project (Lawson is a Clan MacLaren surname). Best would be to join one and then join the other when the results come in. The DNA test will tell you what Lawsons who have already tested are related and thereby help pin down your Lawson genealogy.
