This is just from others' info. I posted earlier today on Goober Pea in Surry Co., NC on the tax lists (1784-1787) and1790-97 in Stokes Co., NC. - sometimes as John G. Lawson - tested DNA. One, John (White-eye?) Lawson died c 1813 in Stokes Co., NC in the home of his daughter Jerusha Lawson Hooker.
