This company was a part of Colonel Samuel Bunch's 2nd Regiment of East Tennessee Militia. Clement was a private and it indicated he was drafted on 10 January 1814 and deserted 4 March 1814. It was interesting that many others of this unit also deserted.>>> William Howe was also in this Company and his daughter Mary "Polly" Howe was born in Tazwell, Claiborne Co., TN and married Andrew Roberts in 1832 shortly after Edmund Lawson's death - their sec. was paid by an Enoch Lawson. William Howe was also apparently in Hawkins Co., TN and Lee Co., VA before he went to Pike Co., OH. He (William Howe) is found a central figure to Paschal and younger Clement/Clemuel Lawson, Andrew and Polly (Howe) Roberts and other persons from TN who migrated there. Possible other connections to Stephens/Stevens and Roberts females in these Lawson lines ? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
