This original guy was b c 1700-1710, as this was about when settlers first came into that area for this NA to marry. He probably married a female settler with the Hooker surname or just took that name. His son Robin/Robert Jr Hooker was b c 1730. There was a Robert acquiring land in that area c 1746 and in the 1750s. We know Robin, the son of the original NA was b c 1730 and had sons b c 1755 and 1765. The descendants have an unusual Q1a3 haplo which is only found in NA and Asian populations - not in European populations. Native American haplos can be identified but as to exact Cherokee haplos - we only know that some Cherokee today that are on the "rolls" do have this Q haplo.
