Have descendants of all 3 (or any) of the John Lawsons who were in Halifax Co.,VA and moved across Surry and Stokes Co., NC (c late 1700/early 1800s)  - one going with 14 chidlren to TN - John (Goober Pea?) Lawson - tested DNA. One, John (White-eye?) Lawson died c 1813 in Stokes Co., NC in the home of his daughter Jerusha Lawson Hooker. Celeste   -
