Did he ever relocate od did he die in Stokes Co.? It would seem that if his father was John B.E. Lawson that he would likely name a son after his father leaving another John Lawson. Your John and son Patmon of Walker Co., Alabama appear to fit that profile if I remember correctly. But that could be Clement's brother John naming a son after his brother Patman. 2) Has anyone figured out or have a theory how either Sherod/Sherwood and Burrell Lawson fit into this group if at all ? 3) I wonder if Lettie/Letty in the 1803 land transaction is Lydia/Lydie etc. who married William Manis and whose children (at least 1 daughter) married (what would be their cousins) - children of Clement Lawson (e.g. daughter Irene / Orlena married Dalzel Manis). 4) One note I found from a person researching Lawsons in Hawkins Co., TN indicated that Edmund Lawson's wife Patsy (?Martha) who had only child Clem Jr. was the daughter of Revolutionary War John Lawson from Bedford Co., VA & Cumberland Co., NC who married his cousin Anna Lawson. 5) Clement seems possibly linked to the Hall family based on children's names - Curtis, Edmund ... was his wife Meccy/Migha/America a Hall and possibly sister of Randolph/Randall Hall ?
