His death record was recorded in the Ky. vital records listed his parents as Burrell Lawson and E.___________ On James Lawson and Nancy Amyx' s daughter Ellender Lawson who married Harmon Owens 8 Sep 1856 Marshall Co, Ky. gave her place of birth as Hawkins Co, Tn. Also on James and Nancy Amyx's daughter Jane who md. 1st William Pickney Owens and 2nd William Harris listed her parents a Jim Lawson and Jane Amick/Amyx.
