Since then, through several pension files, we found that the children of Banks, Hennis and Martin Lawson were cousins. While the degree of cousin was not stated, it seems likely to be first cousins. Remember that Mary, daughter of James and Nancy Lawson, had a child out of wedlock with Samuel P. Murrell, the son of James Murrell and Margaret Burton. That child was Joel Murrell who was raise by Pleasant G. Murrell. Some of Pleasant G. Murrell's children also married some of the children of Banks Lawson. So, I think that we are accumulating more evidence that Banks, Hennis, Martin, and James Lawson were brothers and son of Burrell.
