His Son, my great grand father bore the names Joseph Henry Lawson, date of birth also unknown, looking at the time frame of the emancipation, may have been born free? or not. Now my grand father was, Joshua .O.O. Lawson, was born 1895 and died 1970 at the age of 75. Totally lost as to how to trace my roots. Can anyone help with some tips/information.
