Spears Lawson, my husband's great-grandfather. He was born in 1881 and doesn't show up in a census until 1910. Of course by they he is married so I have not been able to identify his parents. I believe that "Spears" may have been his nickname; on his marriage record he identifies himself as "C. Spears Lawson," but everywhere else he is Spears Lawson. Any help would be much appreciated!
