Laws passed away peacefully February 25, 2002. Wanda was born in Ogden, UT March 27, 1917 to Oscar Parley and Alfreata James Hurst. The family moved to Blanding, UT where she lived the rest of her life. She married Benjamin Albert Palmer, Aug 31, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. To this union were born two sons. Albert died June 23, 1937. Wanda married Wilbur Francis (Wib) Laws Aug 12, 1939 in Blanding, UT. To this union eight children were born. Wanda spent her life contributing much time to the church. Missionaries and missionary work was one of the many highlights in her life of service. Many missionaries enjoyed a hot meal in her home. In 1979 she went on a mission with Wib to the Denver, CO Mission. Wib passed away Feb 18, 1987. Wanda is survived by ten children, Curtis (Janee) Palmer, James (Ginger) Palmer, Melvin (Leila) Laws, Sandra Jackson, Lynn (Lorraine) Laws, Kelly (Terri) Laws, Blanding, Jean (Mike) Pehrson, Monticello, UT, Kay (Oral) Snapp, Oakley, UT, Carolyn Clark, Grantsville, UT, Retta Hall, Sunwest City, AZ; 43 grandchildren; 91 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandson; two sisters; and two brothers. Viewing will be 9-10 a.m. Mon. March 4, 2002, San Juan Mortuary, 370 S. Main. Services, Blanding Stake Center, 11 a.m., 100 W. 800 N. Interment, Blanding Cemetery.
