Merrill, You mentioned that David was the son of John, Sr and the brother of Jesse. Did they marry sisters? I think so but have not gotten any proof. I have seen other researchers notes who say that they were siblings but did not mention the source for this remark.. Since as I mentionedearlier i have researchedthisin Franklin and pittsylvania Counties and been unable to prove the realtionship between David and John, Sr. was there achancery suit for thedivision of John's lands?
