My great grandmother, BETTIE COLEY LAWS, was the dau of THOMAS W. LAWS and CAROLINE MANGUM, probably of Hillsborough, North Carolina. This is information based on informal notations in a family bible. BETTIE COLEY LAWS (b.11/2/1850) married FRANCIS JAMES TILLEY, of Orange County, NC, January 7, 1880. She died shortly after the birth of her fourth child on 7/10/1885 and was buried in the Waller-Tilley Cemetery in Granville County. I last reported this data to this discussion group two years ago.
