Burial will be in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Simmons died September 20, 2001 at her residence of heart failure. Surviving are a daughter, Brenda Boyd of McKenzie; two sons, Gayford Simmons of McKenzie and Paul B. Simmons of Antioch; three sisters, Evola Thompson, Juanita McCord and Dorothy Sanders all of Huntingdon and five brothers, Odell Laws of Nashville, Joe Laws of Chicago, IL, Waldon Laws of Clarksburg, John Laws of Chicago, IL and Wilburn Laws of Huntingdon.
