Laws Leola A. Laws, 89, of Canton formerly of Akron passed away September 17, 2001. Leola was born in Rossiter, PA., on April 20, 1912 living most of her life in the Akron area. Preceded in death by her husband, Walter H. Laws. She is survived by her loving family, son, Dennis (Mary) Laws of Akron; daughter, Cheryl D. Manser of Canton and Debra D. Gill of Akron; sisters, Arlene Shields of Canal Fulton, Violet Jackson of Youngstown, Beverly Armstrong of San Diego, CA and Bobbi Ross of Norton; grandchildren, Dick, Brent, Shaun, Tisha, Brook, Derek, Zachary, Carey, and Ryan; five great grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2001 at the Schermesser Funeral Home, City of Green Chapel, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (Route 619).
