She was 64. The native of Texas lived in Pittsburg for 12 years. She was a member of Church of Christ in Oakland. She enjoyed gardening and bingo. She is survived by her daughter, Zerlinda Ford of Texas; son, Willie Matthews of Oakland; sisters, Verna Walker of Oakland and Maxine Lockett and Frances DeXance, both of Pittsburg; and her brother, Al Sidney Hayes of Texas.
