Knoxville News-Sentinel - Knoxville TN February 7, 1998 WHITEHEAD, MILDRED GRACE LAW - age 77, of Maryville, passed away Friday afternoon, February 6, 1998, at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. Member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Preceded in death by son, Ralph Max Whitehead; parents, John and Susie Teffeteller Law; sisters, Alene Payne, Ruth Russell. Survivors: husband, Earl H. Whitehead Sr.; daughters and sons-in-law, Janelle and Harold Kirkland, Elaine and Gene Whitehead, Leslie and Tim Walker, all of Maryville; sons and daughters-in-law, Earl Jr. and Linda Whitehead, Jimmie and Linda Whitehead, all of Maryville, Tommy and Earlene Whitehead of Walland; daughter-in-law, Betty Jo Whitehead of Maryville; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, John Law Jr. of Maryville; sisters, Mattie Abbott, Gladys Ogle, both of Maryville, Betty Cooper of Senoia, Ga.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Carl White, Rev. George Macht officiating. Family and friends will meet at Hillcrest Baptist Cemetery at 11 a.m. Monday morning for the interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church Ladies Auxiliary, 3204 Laws Chapel Rd., Maryville, TN 37803. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
