All I know about my Martha A. LAWS is that she was born about 1815 in (NC as per 1850-70 census) OR (KY as per 1880 census). Her parents were born in NC (as per 1880 census). She married Asa/Accie/Acey HAMPTON about 1834. Their first child, Riley HAMPTON, stated that he was born on Dec 1, 1835 in Wilkes Co, NC. Their 3rd child stated that he was born in 1839 in Washington Co, TN. They moved to Monroe Co, TN about 1837, where Asa HAMPTON died before 1850. Martha LAWS HAMPTON returned to Washington Co, TN about 1855, and died there in 1895. Any clues as to her parentage?
