Kueser, 80, Garnett, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001, at a Garnett hospital. She was born Oct. 11, 1921, in Coffey County, to Dan S. and Grace Kelly Laws. She spent most of her life in Garnett. She was a member of the former Scissors Club in Richmond. She married Joseph W. Kueser on Dec. 26, 1940, in Holton. He died Feb. 6, 1997. A grandson, David Hull, died Dec. 14, 1986. Survivors include sons, Donald Kueser, Kingsville, Mo., and Dean Kueser, Richmond; a daughter, Marlis Hull, Richmond; a sister, Gloria Rifenbark, Joplin, Mo.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Richmond Cemetery in Richmond. Mrs. Kueser will lie in state after 10 a.m. today at Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Garnett, where visitation will be at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Richmond Library, 66080.
