September 9, 1997: INEZ LAWS COLUMBIA -- Services for Inez Myers Laws 63, will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Saint Mark Baptist Church with burial in Palmetto Cemetery. Viewing will be 2 p.m. until service. Bostick-Tompkins Funeral Home is in charge. Mrs. Laws, widow of Thomas Laws Sr., died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 1997. Born in Richland Co., she was a daughter of the late Morris and Louise Thompson Myers. Surviving are sons, Ronnie Myers, Thomas Myers, Gregory Laws, all of Columbia; daughters, Dorothy Richie of Philadelphia, Lorraine Fripp, Evelyn Ashley, both of Columbia; brother, Lonnie Myers of Columbia; 11 grandchildren.
