Jan 1758; this we have documentation. I'm pleased to be a subscriber, but am not able to help with the research of the Jessie-John- William-James LAW(S) lineage. I started researching two years ago. What I am doing is research on the descendency of JAMES DAWSON LAW who is the son of Anderson Law who is the son of Jessie Law. James D Law b 21 Apr 1822 in KY. He moved west, AFT 1846-BEF 1854, to Missouri and then to Texas in 1891. I'm learning a lot about his life and his large posterity. I'm corresponding (snail mail) with 3 of his descendents that I've found who do genealogy work on the Law Family. I'm entering data into a soltware program and can make GEDCOMS. I've visited third cousins in Missouri and attended their Law reunion. I was quite exciting to visit the grave of James D. Law in Missouri while there last year. James D Law married Helen Buchanan (of the Pres. James B. extended family) and then Keturah Buchanan when Helen died. Anyway I'm glad to be aboard and I thank Wanda Rabb and all for this Mailing List.
