Chattanooga Free Press Chattanooga TN April 11, 1998 DAN LAWS VALLEY HEAD, Ala. - Dan Taylor Laws of Valley Head died Friday, April 10, 1998, in a local hospital. He was 84. A native of Cherokee County, he was a farmer and a Baptist. He was the father of the late Charles Mack Laws. Survivors include his wife, Mildren O'Sheilds Laws; two daughters, Edith Laws Dean, Valley Head, Sarah Haushalter, Fyffe, Ala.; four sisters, Etna McCullough, Leesburg, Ala., Mae Laws, Trion, Ala., Bonnie and Marie Laws, Jamestown, Ala.; and six grandchildren. Services were to be today at 2 p.m. at the Valley head Chapel of Burt Funeral Home with the Rev. James Young officiating. Burial will be in Violet Hill Cemetery.
