John and Polly MacKnelly/McAnnally lived in Richmond, Madison County, Kentucky. Polly's parents are Uriah MacKnelly & Sally/Sarah Alexander. There are 15 different spellings of the surname in documents and census records. John's parents are Dudley Laws & Nancy Owens. My source is John's death certificate. NOTE: This is not the same John & Polly as John Laws & Polly Moses. I am looking for information on Dudley Laws and Nancy Owens.
