Antelope Valley Press - Lancaster/Palmdale CA January 12, 1998 LAWS, Philip B., born Nov.. 3, 1906 passed away at AV hospital on Dec. 28, 1997 at the age of 91. He was preceded in death by his wife of many years, Winnie Laws. He lover her until the day he passed away. Also two sons, Stanley and James Rush. He is survived by daughter Ruth Rodriguez and husband tony of Palmdale and daughter Lorraine Smith of Thousand Oaks, two daughter- in-laws Betty Rush of Palmdale and Dawn Rush of Wrightwood, brother bill Laws of Victorville. He was a great-great, great and grandfather to over 100 grandchildren. He retired from the Lennox School District and worked for the Gardena Rodium Swap Meet until he was 84 years old. He will be missed, but never forgotten by his family, friends and anyone who knew him. He was cremated, and his ashes were spread in the ocean to be with his wife Winnie and his sons.
