Winston-Salem Journal Winston-Salem, NC January 27, 1998 LAW Alyne Denny Law, 84, of the Triad United Methodist Retirement Home in Winston-Salem, N.C. died Sunday night at the Triad United Methodist Home. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Methodist Church of Draper. Burial will follow in the Danview Cemetery. Mrs. Law was born in Rockingham County and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Eden, N.C. She was a member of the United Methodist Women, a member of the Homebuilders Class of the Church and was also a Red Cross hospital volunteer. She was a homemaker. Surviving are two sons, Rev. Joe A. Law of Dallas, N.C. and Melvin C. Law of Newlin, N.C.; one daughter, Linda Evans of Scottsville, Virginia; two brothers, John Denny and Irvin Denny, both of Eden, N.C.; one sister, Ruby Shropshire of Eden, N.C.; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the Fair Funeral Home.
