NORWALK REFLECTOR Norwalk, OH Monday, April 9, 2001 LEROY O. LAWS Oct. 20, 1912-April 6, 2001 MONROEVILLE-LeRoy O. Laws, 88, of 5295 Ohio 99 N., Monroeville, died Friday at Providence Hospital in Sandusky, after a long illness. He was born Oct. 20, 1912 in Norwalk, and had lived in North Monroeville most of his life. He was a self-employed welder in his own shop in North Monroeville from 1950 until his retirement in 1985 doing Agriculture and Commercial welding. Prior to his welding business he drove school bus for Monroeville schools. He was a member of Churchville Moose Club 2244 in Rochester, N.Y. He enjoyed deer hunting, traveling and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Madeline (Trim) Laws; sons and a daughter-in-law, Randy and Cathy Laws, of Sandusky and Roger Laws, of Norwalk; a sister, Mae D. Comparette, of Sandusky; stepchildren, Roger and Shirley Trim, of Rochester, N.Y., Kevin and Shelly Trim, of Nunday, N.Y., Pamela Trim, Beverly Brockman, Debra Trim, Sandra Trim, Lynda Zampatori, and Brenda Trim, all of Rochester, N.Y.; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marion (Hassinger) Laws in 1981; an infant son; his parents, Frank and Dolly (Nims) Laws; brothers, George Laws, James Laws, and twin brothers at birth. Visitation was held Sunday in Jump Funeral Home, 109 Monroe St., Monroeville. Funeral services were held this morning at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monroeville, with the Rev. Lawrence Scharf officiating. Burial was in North Monroeville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Jump Funeral Home.
