This is not my Laws family, but I saw it in this morning's Dayton Daily News and thought it might help someone on the List. Dayton Daily News July 8, 2001 Laws, Lovie M. Age 81 of Dayton, died Thursday, July 5, 2001 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her Husband, A.J. Laws in 1988; Son, Steven Ray Laws in 1977 and Brothers and Sisters. She is survived by One Daughter and Son-in-law: Anne & Carl Moody of Dayton. One Son and Daughter-in-law: Alan & Linda Laws of Lakeview. 7 Grandchildren. 12 Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 4953 Hamlin Drive, Dayton. Pastor Melvin King and Rev. Wayne Burke officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-3 P.M. Sunday at Morris Sons Funeral Home, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering. Lovie was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. If desired memorial contributions may be made to charity of one's choice.
