Hi LAWS Family The Laws Railroad museum, on Highway 8 just north of Bishop on Highway 395 in California. Having just made a search online I find that in fact the site was named after R J LAWS who was Assistant Superintendent from 1883 to 1913 it being the Carson & Colorado Railway Co., from Mound Hill Nevada to Laws and Keeler California some 300 miles. Then from 1900 it was part of the Southern Pacific Co.
