Rock Hill Herald Rock Hill, SC June 29, 2001 David Laws BLACKSTOCK - Mr. David Edward Laws, 62, of 2477 Boyd Road died Wednesday, June 27, 2001, at home. The funeral will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Saluda Street Church of God, with the Rev. Dennis Reid officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery. A native of Chester, Mr. Laws was a son of the late Roy Laws and Nellie Smith Laws. He was a retired self-employed mobile home mover and attended Saluda Street Church of God. He attended Chester schools. Surviving are his son, David M. Laws of Chester; his daughter, Patty Lucas of Blackstock; three brothers, Jimmy Laws and Johnny Laws, both of Chester, and Wallace Laws of Blackstock; two sisters, Beatrice Skinner and Diane Wallace, both of Blackstock; four grandchildren and his great-granddaughter. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Barron Funeral Home and at other times at the home of his son, 2320 Colvin Road in Chester.
