Harry and list, Harry privately asked me about a Joseph LAWS of Needham Norfolk parish, VA, fathering a child in 1770. Perhaps my earlier posting was misleading. I have done hardly any original LAWS research in early 1700s, plus my early research concentrates on LAWS in Halifax, VA, and on non-LAWS families in Old Orange Co., VA, in the mid-1700s. The only Joseph LAWS is have is one who has a land deed in Wilkes Co., in 1804. He, therefore, was born at least before 1784, it appears. I have no further information about him prior to 1804.
