    3. Hello John!! Good Morning!! What a nice surprise,to wake up this morning,and see your post. I must admit,my cousins and I are stuck,on our Laws. I have photo's dating back to early to middle 1800's and No 1st names. ( Its frustrating!). Anyway,here goes! I want to THANK YOU for your offer even if you don't find anything,but I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I'm <G>ing!!! The last line of LAWS we have information on are 3 LAWS children. We don't know if the father was killed in the Civil War, or died. The mother put the children in the care of friends or relatives. She went to England, with a man by the name of "DUKE",or title of "DUKE". She never returned!!?? This is the children information. The oldest child: Ida Beatrice LAWS -born: June 5, 1856 in Mississippi She married: George Washington DELAPP on March 7, 1872 in Carroll County,Mississippi. She Died: March 27, 1927 in Charleston,Ms. in Tallahatchie County.We don't know who she was taken care as a child? The next child: Benjamin Taylor LAWS: born: January 1860 in Mississippi, At age he is listed as living with a James and (wife) Ethilea BRYANT. This was in the 1870 Census of Carroll County,Ms. It says Benjamin was born in Mississippi. Benjamin married: March 29, 1883 in Carroll County,Ms. to a Della O. Bankston He Died: 1923 in Carroll County,Ms. The youngest child was Minnie Gustevious LAWS: born June 7, 1863 or 1864 depending on what your going by the death certificate,or tombstone. She was born in Ms. She was left with the Thomas and Sarah WADE family in the 1870 Census of Carroll County,Ms..Minnie was 6 years old. Minnie married: August 29, 1877 in Carroll County,Ms. to a Ira Warren BANKSTON She died: July 30, 1927 in Panola County,Ms. Your offer of help is greatly appreciated!!
