LAWS (female) md Unknown BROWN (5) Mary Elizabaeth LAWS md Vincent WHITE 15 March 1813, Fauquier Co, VA (6) Samuel LAWS bn 16 Aug 1791 Fauquier Co, VA md Mary "Polly" RECTOR 26 Nov 1812, Fauquier Co, VA John LAWS served in the Revolutionary War. Enlisted August 1, 1776 in 11th Virginia Regt. Records show he was age 60 in 1818, married to Margaret, children Sally age 4, in 1820, John 18 months. He moved from Virginia to Licking Co, Ohio in 1829 to be with his family, Ref Va S.41754. Rept by State D.A.R. Ohio D.A.R. Revolutionary Soldiers Rosters, Volumes I & II, 1929-1938, page 212. I descend thur John's son Shadrach LAWS & Frances "Fanny" WHITE, their son Edmond A. LAWS bn 1818 d ??? md Elizabeth Marshall ADAMS, dau of Thomas Marshall ADAMS & Frances "Fanny" JETT on 27 Sept 1841. They lived in Paris, Fauquier Co, VA. Edmond LAWS was listed as a merchant & drover in different census records. Need death dates for Edmond & Elizabeth. Their daughter, Susan Ida LAWS bn Sept 1857 Paris, Fauquier Co, VA md Thomas Howard JACKSON on 15 August 1877 in Fauquier Co, VA. They moved to Grafton Taylor Co, WVA in 1884. My grandfather, (their son) Curtis Glanville JACKSON was 2 yrs old when they made the move over the mountains. Would appreciate any help with this family.
