Lewis, 96 GREENWOOD - Pauline H. Lewis of Greenwood died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2001, in the Country Rest Home, Greenwood. She was 96. Mrs. Lewis was born Sept. 2, 1904, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of the late Edgar A. and Harriet Oakley Laws. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed doing crafts. Mrs. Lewis was a member of 1st Church of Christ the Scientist, Queens Village, Long Island, N.Y. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude R. Lewis Jr., in 1989. She is survived by two sons, Robert E. Lewis of Wilmington and John A. Lewis of Quakertown, Pa.; four grandchildren, Eric E. Lewis, Kim Lewis, Jamie Lewis and John Paul Lewis; and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Greenwood Mennonite Church, two miles north of Greenwood on Del. 36. Burial will be private. Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Country Rest Home, R-2 Box 25, Greenwood, DE 19950. Arrangements by Fleischauer Funeral Home, Greenwood.
