Cryptside service: 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2001 at Greenwood Mausoleum. Visitation: Family will greet friends at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at Greenwood Mausoleum. Memorials: Vitas Hospice, 2501 Parkview Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76102. Claude E. Laws was born January 10, 1907 in DeQueen, Ark. He and his brother, Dee, owned Laws Brothers Drug Store on White Settlement Drive in Fort Worth for 40 years. He was a member of the White Settlement Masonic Lodge #1372 for 60 years. He was an avid gardener. Claude was a quiet and gentle man, who showed by example, and was a good role model to his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Letris Laws, in 1989, a son, Danny Laws, in 1973, a grandson, Charles Emmit Laws, in 2000, six brothers, one sister, and his parents. Survivors: Son, Ronnie Laws of Fort Worth; daughter, Margo Webb of Duncan, Okla; brother, Dee Laws of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
