I can find five children to George and Jean: 1. John b 1772 Pitsligo 2. Margaret b 1773 Pitsligo d 1855 Pitsligo unmarried 3. Elizabeth b 1775 Pitsligo died 1855 Pitsligo unmarried but had a daughter, Eliza Bruce b 1811 Pitsligo, by an Alexander Bruce from Aberdour. Eliza married Charles Scott, blacksmith, 1833 Pitsligo and had nine children. 4. May b 1777 Pitsligo married Charles Clark 1807 Pitsligo and died 1870 Monquhitter 5. Helen b 1779 Pitsligo m Alexander Strachan 1810 Pitsligo and died 1858 Pitsligo. Helen and Alexander had three children: Alexander Strachan b 1811 Banff m Rebecca Birnie 1833 Pitsligo and had six children William Orrock Strachan b 1814 Banff married Mary Place 1841 Pitsligo – I can find no children from this marriage John Strachan b 1818 Pitsligo married Mary Birnie 1841 Pitsligo and had six children I would welcome contact with anyone researching these families.
