I believe that Jessie Lawrence was the former Jessie Speare and that the family moved to USA in about 1913 from Devon England. Jessie Speare was the sister of my grandfather Walter Henry Speare, who had moved to Canada. The last known address we have of Mrs E. Lawrence was from my grandfather's obituary in 1947 that states she lived in Tacoma Washington at the time of his death. We have been working on the Speare Family Tree and would like to include Jessie's descendants in the tree. Donna Fortman nee Speare
