Dear Daniel Thank you for replying and for 'keeping an eye ' out for Joseph Lawrence in the hope of finding his wife's name. I have no idea of where to look as there was no marriage record in Athol, Mass where children were born- or at least registered. When I wrote letters before, they said they would need to have the 'township' or at least the County name before they could search....Of course, I do not know the County or anything else for that matter. Anyway, I do keep trying!!!! And you are so right. It is difficult coming from Canada - but at least the internet helps. What is the Lawrence book referred to? Obviously my people were not included!
