Children: Henry Clapp Birmingham, died 1839 age 4; Susan, married Allan Jollie 1863; James, married Adeline Brooks 1878; and two others. Robert died in a fall at The Bible House in Astor Place, New York, a Bible-printing shop where he was a pressman. Owned land at one time in Genesee County, NY. He served in the War of 1812. She died in Brooklyn.
