Hello! I just subscribed, and am at a brick wall with my LAWRENCE ancestor, Sarah LARRANCE/LAWRENCE, b. abt. 1737. She married Recompense THOMAS (b. Jan. 28, 1735). He was born in Ridgefield, Fairfield Co, CT, but I don't know where Sarah was born, or anything else about her, except that she probably died in Rensselaer, Albany Co, NY after 1785. It was discovered recently that her surname was spelled LARRANE in some CT vital records, which I am assuming was a typo, and LARRANCE or LAWRENCE was meant. Haven't been able to find any trace of a surname of LARRANE anywhere, but have found MANY references to a LARRENCE, LARANCE, LARANCE, LARENCE form for LAWRENCE, so I am going to run with that. Has anyone out there any info on Sarah? There are quite a few of us trying to locate her family. Regards, Dale Updike Saskatchewan, Canada
