    3. This Lawrance line is of Lee, Oneida, NY. Thomas E. LAWRANCE (so spelled on gravestone), b. abt 1776 and died July 27, 1825 and buried at West Branch Cemetery, Lee, Oneida, NY, married Mary Ann (WILLIAMS?), also buried at West Branch cemetery. Their son, Gilbert W. LAWRANCE , b. Dec 3, 1804, married Sep. 17, 1829 Mary Tyler WILLSON, b. April 3, 1809. Gilbert and Mary had children Alsina, b. Mar.3, 1831; Roswell E., b. Nov. 21, 1832; Sarah (Sally) W., b. Mar. 29, 1836; Nelson B., b. Feb. 17, 1840 (lived in Western, married a Jenette (?), had children Lillian and Elmer by 1880); Asenath W., died young; Mary Elizabeth, b. Nov. 20, 1842, married Malcolm Lochton Chandler 1865; G. D. (Gilbert Denison?), b. June 9, 1846; Eustatia, b. May 15, 1849. I have been trying off and on for years to find Thomas Lawrance's parents. I would be grateful for any information anyone might have on this family and in corresponding with any other descendants.

    3. I'm not much use to you as I don't have a Thomas on my list but I do have a Nelson b. 1831 in New York - Catskill Mountains, Green County. Any connection do you think. It's a common name in the Lawrence family. Pat
